This has been the absolute best Purple lipstick I have ever purchased, hands down. It isn't as bright on me as it is on the picture, and it has a matte finish whenever I use it. The bright side is that it's not super drying and it's really creamy and easy to put on. Plus the pigmentation on Backchat is crazy.

i don't know what it is but backchat has to be the most beautiful purple lipstick I have ever purchased. I just love it. It's opaque and the formula is wonderful. I love it.
Backchat is a bright medium violet with a magenta tone. IRL it's not as blue-toned as the picture but it is just as intense. I was a little disappointed with this as I've been looking for a great blue-violet. The formula is comfortable and the wear time is pretty good. Application is good; it goes on smooth without being streaky. It does leave a stain so I don't use it a lot. I'd buy from this company again, but probably not this shade.
